Why I earned less than I expected
Usually the order total, sometimes the rate, occasionally a return.
Commission is on the subtotal after discounts, with shipping and tax excluded. A code you shared reduces the base your own commission is calculated on, which is the trade codes involve.
A single order can also blend several rates. If a retailer pays 12% on fashion and 4% on beauty, a basket with both earns a mixture of the two.
If part of an order is returned, the commission adjusts down to the part that was kept. Once an amount has been paid out to you it is not clawed back.
