Why a sale says pending
The three states money passes through, and how long each takes.
Every sale moves through three states, and they mean different things.
- Pending. The retailer has reported the order but has not confirmed it. They are waiting out their returns window, because a returned order earns no commission. This normally takes 30 to 90 days, and it is the retailer's clock, not ours.
- Confirmed. The retailer has approved the order and the money is genuinely yours. It joins the balance the next payout targets.
- Paid. It has been sent to your account.
Pending is not a problem and it is not us holding your money. We have not been paid for that order either. FRONTROW never pays out commission it has not been paid, because paying money we do not have is how platforms fail creators.
